Patient numbers recovered; search costs need attention.

Beeliar welcomed 64 new patients, compared with 43 in July and 53 in August last year. The clinic answered 102 of 104 inbound calls. Google Ads delivered more Beeliar search traffic, while Meta generated 30.6% more clicks than July across both clinics.

A stronger patient month.
August added 21 patients versus July and 11 versus August 2025. The year-to-date total remains below last year, so the recovery needs to be sustained.
More search activity at a higher click cost.
Beeliar search clicks rose 14.7% to 109, while spend increased 24.9% to $2,663.13.
Opportunity volume needs context.
The 35 opportunities include existing-patient appointments and administration. They cannot be treated as 35 new-patient enquiries or used to explain the patient increase on their own.
02

What August tells us.

Patient growth and enquiries are different measures.
New patients increased despite inbound calls falling from 111 to 104. These measures cover different groups, so the change does not establish a call-to-patient conversion rate.
Call handling remains a strength.
Only two inbound calls were marked missed. Google Business Profile tracking numbers accounted for 91 calls, making local discovery the largest tracked phone source.
Existing-patient activity needs separate reporting.
22 of the 35 opportunities relate to existing patients. Keep these separate from advertising enquiries when assessing acquisition, and update each record after contact so reception can see who still needs follow-up.

Efficiency discussion

Prioritise search intent before increasing spend.

Beeliar’s ad engagement held steady, but attracting each visit became more expensive. Review search terms for irrelevant queries or existing-patient searches that could absorb acquisition spend. Use booking outcomes to identify which searches deserve more budget before increasing spend across the campaign.
10

The established Beeliar page set continues.

The New Patient, Veneers and Invisalign offer pages remained the campaign destinations in August.

11

3.96K visitors across the shared Glo Dental website.

Website visitor totals cover both clinic locations. Paid traffic was the largest category, followed by organic and referral traffic; no Beeliar-only visitor total is available.

Traffic discussion

Maintain organic visibility alongside paid traffic.

Paid traffic is the largest source of website visits, while organic search and referrals provide additional routes to the practice. Keep service and location pages useful and easy to navigate so visitors can find the right clinic and take the next step toward booking.
12

August’s clearest positives.

Patient numbers bounced back.
64 new patients exceeded July by 21 and August last year by 11, narrowing the year-to-date shortfall.
Call answering stayed consistent.
102 of 104 inbound calls were answered, sustaining an answer rate above 98% for the second consecutive month.
Meta click efficiency improved.
The shared account generated 30.6% more clicks while spend rose from $1,076.17 in July to $1,090.12 in August (+1.3%), bringing average CPC to $0.33.
13

Priorities arising from August’s results.

1
Separate new enquiries from existing-patient activity.
Owner: Reception team
Reclassify appointment changes and routine administration, then keep booking and attendance stages current. This will make the 35-opportunity total more useful for acquisition decisions.
2
Track enquiry and appointment outcomes.
Owner: Shoutout Digital — tracking; Reception team — patient outcomes
Record booking and attendance outcomes for Google Ads and Google Business Profile enquiries. Keep existing-patient activity separate so ongoing care and administration do not inflate acquisition results.
3
Prioritise search activity that leads to bookings.
Owner: Shoutout Digital — Google Ads team
Review which search terms and enquiries lead to appointments. Use verified Beeliar booking and attendance outcomes to guide budget decisions.
4
Maintain call response and appointment follow-up.
Owner: Reception team
Confirm callbacks for the two missed calls and follow up on appointment requests awaiting availability or confirmation. Sustain the current answering standard.
